Exercise Plan
Now that spring has finally come, and some would agree summer is upon us, I had this great exercise plan in mind. I would go for a long walk/run every weekday until work started.
When work started, the plan was to go to the gym at work, every other day or so.
This run/walk plan was based on the premise that being outside was actually physically possible.
Last week, we saw temperatures range between 20 and 24 degrees C. Wonderful weather for being outside, I'm sure you all agree. Running under those conditions was nothing short of fantastic.
As I boot up my computer today, my little weather widget tells me it's 7 degrees C outside, and cloudy...
Now, I know some of you have the discipline to go out running in weathers like this, and I admire that, but I'm doing this for my own pleasure and welfare, so I'm sure as hell not going to go out there and freeze my nuts off, just to "stick with the program".
I'd really like to keep on running, but with weathers like there, it's just not possible.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that summer will return.
